Minutes of ECW mtg 1-22-2021 by zoom
Hi everyone, present at today's meeting were myself, Barb Chaney, Adair Heard, Janice Wolcott, and Julie Balestreri.
Janice opened the meeting with a reading from Max Lucado.
Barb gave the financial report: we made $2010 at the Christmas Bazaar! Woo Woo
Our finances are in good shape.
We started brainstorming. Ideas included:
*Moving the date of the bazaar to November if we do a live event.
*Adding an additional fundraiser in the summer months.
*Making only swags and centerpieces, no wreaths.
*Explored a variety of possible fundraisers.
*Determined we will sell pies again. Barb will check with the high school to determine the h.s. clubs pie-selling events are scheduled so we won't overlap. When we'll sell them tbd.
*We'll explore holding an outdoor food event for the summer to include vendors with possibly food trucks and licensed home-based food preparers selling their goods. Janice will check with Polk County Health Department to determine if Covid would restrict this event. Lori will post on Dallas FB sites an invitation for licensed food folks to voice an interest to participate.
*Decided not to plan for a Spring tea given Covid restrictions.
Next meeting: Monday March 1st via Zoom. I will send out the Zoom link again in a reminder closer to the meeting date. Mark your calendars!
